    Mark Hiesterman's story begins in Deer Lodge, Montana, where he was nurtured in a family deeply entrenched in healthcare. Surrounded by family members in medical professions, including dentistry and surgery, he was imbued with solid healthcare values and a dedication to service from an early age.

     

    Education and Pursuing Medical Profession

     

    His educational journey unfolded at the University of Montana, leading to a diverse academic accomplishment with a triple major in Biology, Chemistry, and Classical Studies from Concordia College in 2000. Overcoming personal challenges, his medical journey at Kansas City University of Medicine was a testament to his resilience, culminating in a Doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine in 2005.

     

    Career Journey and Expanding Horizons

     

    Beginning with a traditional internship and a residency at Metro Health Hospital in Wyoming, Michigan, he honed his skills in General Surgery. His professional path is marked by versatility, venturing into specialties like Urology and Neurosurgery, especially during his tenure in Saipan. He has also contributed through teaching, volunteering in humanitarian missions, and serving on medical committees.

    His affinity for the natural world, rooted in his Montana upbringing, translates into hobbies like hiking, scuba diving, and photography.
